The first rough draft

I have really learned some new information on my subject of lupus that I am writing for my final paper at Kaplan.  I really do like this english comp class that I am taking, but Im not the best writer so, Im hoping I do ok with this.  I guess I am one of those individuals that knows what they want to say and it sounds great in my head, but when it has to be written down on paper, I just can't seem to get it right.  It took me about two weeks just to come up with my thesis, lol.  My best friend that I have had for over 20 years found out that she has lupus and this is why  I choose to write about this subject.  I wanted to find out alot about it.  I was just in her wedding two weeks ago, she made such a beautiful  bride.  It is somewhat amazing to me that so many americans are diagnosed with this disease when it is actually a condition people rarely talk about.  Well, wish me luck with my paper. 

Another Beautiful Day

Today has been such a wonderful, relaxing day.  I got some sun and watched a video of my son win his medal for coming in third place in a race with the whole elementary school.  Its sad I had to watch a video, but atleast I was able to see it and they will be home in three long weeks:(  I also started my new job yesterday and absolutely loved it and the people there are great.  Hope everything continues to go well!!

Falling behind

So, I am sitting in a hotel room, trying to get caught up with my school work.  I left PA yesterday and drove about 13 hours before I couldn't go anymore.  I missed both my seminars for my classes and this move has gotten me really behind.  I am so ready to get my life back to normal.  Today I will drive the rest of the way to Texas and move into my house.  I start my new job tomorrow and will be without my children for a whole week.  I hope everything gets back to normal soon:)

My big move to Texas

Hello everyone, I am still getting use to posting to this blog so, bare with me. I have started my second term with Kaplan University online and I am loving it. This was a big step for me. I have found the online courses to be easier for me being that I do have to work full time and go to school in order to properly take care of my amazing three babies. In the past month I have accepted a new position with a company that will require me to move from Pennsylvania to Dallas, TX. My big move takes place in one week along with being the maid of honor in my best friends wedding this weekend in Florida. There is so much to do this week and it is definitely hectic for me. I cannot wait to get to warm weather again. It snowed this morning in PA. I was absolutely amazed! I hope I get a little more use to writing in this blog and everyone has a wonderful week.

Hello everyone,

This is my very first post to my blog so, I hope I am doing everything right. Well, my name is Jennifer and I am a 30 year old (actually 29, will be 30 in three weeks). I have three amazing children. Brehninn is seven and so very smart, Ivan is going to be six on the 14th of May and Savannah who I said before is three going on fifteen. My children are my motivation and a huge reason why I returned to school to furthur my education and provide a better life for them. I have recently moved to Pennsylvania to be closer to my family, but I am truly missing the warm weather in the south and ready to go back home!! I do not get alot of free time between work and school, but when I do I love to take my children to the park or on a picnic. I would have to say I miss the beach. I use to be able to see it from my bedroom window and visited it daily.
